Prof. Dr. Ahmet Erdem

Prof. Dr. Ahmet Erdem is a cardiologist specializing in interventional cardiology with extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. He successfully performs numerous advanced interventional procedures, particularly for coronary artery diseases, heart attacks, and chronic total occlusions (CTO). His procedures include: coronary angiography and stenting, rotablation and shockwave lithotripsy for calcified vessels, intravascular imaging (IVUS, OCT), and alcohol septal ablation. He also performs catheter-based structural heart treatments, such as valve repairs with TAVI, MitraClip, and Triclip, mitral balloon valvuloplasty, and closure of congenital heart defects (ASD, PFO).
